Week 2 | Day 4 | 8am

Bumblebee let out an agitated whir of a sigh as he stared hopelessly at the machine used to choose and maintain a holoform. He hadn't wanted one, but with more and more humans arriving at base? It could prove useful to have so they didn't have to look upwards all the time while talking to a bot. Especially if he had to meet with others in areas that weren't meant for bots, or couldn't fit bots... Having a holoform that wasn't basically stuck to the drivers seat of his alt-form was probably useful, too. That and with him being the one who often jumped at the chance to pick up Raf from school, having a driver in the drivers seat looked.. Well, normal. The one in there right now? Stiff as a board. Boring. Totally not Bumblebee.
He couldn't exactly go around driving with nobody in the drivers seat when out and about – even with the tinted windows there was a chance someone could see in. Raf couldn't sit there, either. What if he got pulled over? Hello officer, yes, I am twelve years old and driving a sports car! Ha! That'd go down well. Not that Bee had reason to get pulled over, he was very careful when and where he... Kinda, sorta... Maybe went over the speed limit. He shuddered thinking about yesterday while picking up Raf and the cheerleaders.. He needed a Holoform that if people saw, it would look normal. More fitting than the generic 'guy' he had there for right now.
This whoooole thing is stuuuu-uuuupid~
Picking a holoform that he'd actually keep was a lot harder than he'd first thought. Obviously it had to have blonde hair. Had to be good looking, too. Blue eyes to match his... Yep. After some tweaking, frustrated angry cursing, and maybe a smack or two on the machine? He'd made himself a holoform. A few more frustrated smacks on the machine and it had clothes. Nothing too flashy, a scratty band t-shirt and ripped jeans. It was Bee.
And it was perfect. ((Yay a picture link!))
An excited flurry of beeps escaped him. This wasn't so bad after all. Flexing his servos as he looked down at the holoform. The one in his alt form was basic. It sat, and made the simple motions of driving. This one? Had to be more realistic. It had to move and act human. Now, to test it out. He'd start simple.. Walking. He could walk, he'd seen humans walk. How hard could it be to make this thing walk?
Quite hard, as it turned out.
Optics narrowing in concentration as he focused on getting the holoform to move. It took a shaky step forwards, then another.. Then another.. Then it toppled. It staggered.. Caught itself... Wavered a little.. Like someone who had too much to drink.. Aaaand.. Nope! It fell. Harshly, too. Face first on the concrete floor. At least it was a Holoform, that woulda hurt! How did humans move about on such tiny little feet? Whatever. Take two. The holoform pulled itself to its feet under Bumblebee's control, and once again attempted to walk.
And walk it did.
It took lumbering, heavy steps. Like it was top heavy and couldn't stop. It kept walking. Okay.. Now. How to stop? Stopping would be great. He couldn't even make it do that falling thing again now that he WANTED it to. Onwards the holoform marched, down the corridor and away from Bumblebee. More frantic beeps and a smack of the machine, he managed to link it so he could see through its eyes. Where was it going?
He, or rather, the holoform, was heading toward someone, a female. A human. A human that Bumblebee didn't know or recognize. He couldn't call out to make them move out the way. Oh no. Oooh no. Frantically Bumblebee waved his arms, the holoform copying his action – waving their arms like a complete lunatic, before he marched straight through the woman, and then fell.
Well, at least he'd got it to stop.
