Blue was silent for a moment as he communed with his host. Having Bladewing explain what Soundwave exactly meant by his question. He contemplated this for a moment before he pulsed his answer back to Bladewing in order to see what the seeker thought about it.
He knew how much his host despised Megatron for his role in the annihilation of Vos and subsequently the death of his spark mates. He knew how much it still pained his host and could understand his answer. But even though, Bladewing had been right, as much as he didn't like the whole situation himself, they were on a hostile, alien planet with nothing but their frames and what was within their subspace pockets. They needed allies at least and a safe place to stay at best. And to be honest Bladewing had him kind of hooked, when he gave him the prospect of getting educated as a scientist.
There was a short subconscious nod from the seeker before Blue started to speak.
"I-I'm loyal to my host… And I … I won't serve someone he won't…."
He went silent for a moment gathering his thoughts.
"Bu-but we… we did work for people… Y-you called that serving."
He went silent again as he needed to calm his vents and spark. He needed to concentrate and couldn't have his panic cloud his mind and processors. He once again felt the support of his carrier.
"We-we also served Decepticons. S-so… if… if you think… If-if you vote against us becoming part of-of th-this… We-we could still work for you…"
He sat down again, leaning against the seeker's cockpit, all strength seeming to have finally left his frame. His vents were going quickly and the spikes on his lower arms were clamping down and flaring out in nervous, erratic flicks.
Above him Bladewing gave a firm nod, showing that he was behind his cassette's offer.
