There may have been some exaggeration to Knock Out’s words, but there was no denying that compared to many here at Blackridge Hold? He looked to be in a better state than most. While others simply resigned themselves to the light coating of dust and the general dirt buildup from day-to-day activities, the cherry-red CMO stood out in that he was rather immaculate with his highly polished glossy finish.
Of course, Breakdown certainly helped with that - along with a neuroticism that couldn’t really be avoided, but ah, it really was the little things at times - and the shinier his paint? The better his mood.
Tilting his helm gently at Pipette’s words, there was an odd sense of relief when she politely declined the splint. While he was more than happy to assist - after all, it was his job - there was a certain delight in not having to do extra work.
Her servo truly would be fine if she kept the limb relaxed. Which meant taking it easy in the day-to-day for a while, and avoiding… what was it she said? Social bonding.
Heh.
“If you’re certain. Regardless, we’ll see how you feel upon our return.” he added, politely.
It was then he would ease into a stand, powering off the datapad and pushing it to one side on his desk. To someone unfamiliar, it was a fairly standard motion - but to Flatline, who would probably be arriving in the Medical Bay to start his day before too long, it was a sign that Knock Out had been here. Slightly askew from the normal position, it wouldn’t take the black and red mech long to realize that the CMO had left him to get on with whatever needed doing in terms of prep work for the day.
“Roll out?” he laughed “Absolutely.”
With a quiet hum of approval, he would make his way toward the Medical Bay door. His intention was to go through the Control Room, pick a random spot to bridge to, and get the heck out of dodge before Soundwave noticed. All in the name of Pipette’s recovery, of course.
Making small talk as he moved, he would glance over his shoulder to the femme.
“So, did you pick out an Earthly vehicle mode yet?”
He probably should’ve paid more attention to her file - then again, he hadn’t actually opened it this morning, and could be excused for not remembering.
