“Hmm, no. Nothing short of a helicopter would produce the quantifiable test results for entanglement.” Pipette knew that mathematically, the carbon nanotubes were strong enough to endure but the physics were too complex for her to calculate if the tubes would bind up rotors, or spray apart.
Pipette did like her field trials. She grinned inwardly. There would come a time and place, and she was eager.
“Your bluntness is welcome Knock Out.” She considered her answer before speaking. “I have given a lot of thought to your theory and unfortunately for myself, it does hold the weight of circumstantial evidence. I am certain there was affection, but I simply cannot be absolutely certain. Further investigation will be required.” She knew that she felt something positive for Starkrieger even if she yet couldn't define it. She also knew that she held hope for more interaction of a positive affectionate nature. It simply felt good.
“Further, I really have only just met the individual, our interaction was the first. And NO! It was not with Flatline.” She was somewhat indignant and embarrassed at the suggestion without realising it. “I am sure he has positive social merits but I could not quantify any of them.” Pip also couldn't have absolute faith in the competence of a medic with ongoing injuries. She considered this though for a moment. With Starkrieger, he was a seeker with bad navigation and yet somehow that made him more relatable and not less attractive.
She knew in part why she felt attraction for a certain mech, and that same reason could not apply to Flatline. The chemist inside her liked danger, bottled power, stored energy ready for the right moment to be used. Flatline radiated none of these. Knock Out at least had an eagerness for adventure, she could appreciate that.
