[Appearance]
Owing to their similar alternate modes, Starfall stands about a head shorter than Optimus Prime does, though still taller than Shockwave. Her frame is of similar bulk to Shockwave’s, clad in rounded plates of thick yellow armour that give her an overall appearance similar to that of a knight or a paladin. The entirety of her body sans her head and the inside of her thighs are encased in gunmetal plating, the latter exposing vents to manage heat buildup. Much of her body is then further reinforced by bright yellow plates, which form her helmet, chestplate, shoulders, forearms, skirt plating and shinguards. Starfall’s chestplate is particularly blocky, with a set of eight abs flanked by pistons exposed below. Purple strips of lifelighting illuminate her upper arms and thighs, as well as the rims of her wheels when in robot mode. Starfall’s Autobot insignias are inscribed upon her shoulderplates.
Starfall’s helmet has a somewhat knightly visage due to its angled shaping. Its most notable trait is the opaque black T-visor that clamps down over her face during combat - when retracted, the plates flanking said visor also recede, exposing more of Starfall’s face. She bears a large protective crest on her forehead, and plates on the sides of her helmet that sweep upward like horns. Small lights rest on the sides of her cheeks, enabling her to illuminate the area she is looking at. Starfall’s face is silvered with minimal signs of wear and tear, a testament to the fortitude of her helmet. Her optics are similar in appearance to Megatron’s, with a purple glow that swells and dims in accordance with her emotional state, up to an almost blinding intensity during bouts of extreme emotion.
In robot mode, Starfall’s kibble is largely visible from behind. The front wheels of her cab lay atop one another in the centre of her back, constantly yet slowly rotating, while her rear wheels extend from the backs of her calves. The grille and windshield are concealed beneath the gap between her chestplate and abs, and the smokestacks of her truck mode form part of her forearms, with the exhausts poking out just below the elbows. Finally, her skirt plating is formed from her cab doors and additional armour, providing protection for her thighs without restricting movement.

[Pertinent History]
Forged towards the tail end of the caste system, Starfall was assigned as a manual labourer at a spaceport. Dreaming of one day exploring the stars herself, it was this optimism that mockingly earned Starfall her name. Yet despite her hopeful outlook, Starfall never allowed it to blind her, and she quickly realized the world into which she had been born was one of cruel injustice. In the poorer areas of Cybertron crime had grown rampant, with a police force Starfall perceived to be corrupt leaving many defenseless as those in power instead turned their attention to the growing Decepticon movement. Somebody needed to stand up for the innocent. And, inspired by the heroes of Cybertronian legend, Starfall decided it would be her.
Starfall wasn’t alone in holding such a belief, her early efforts as a vigilante earning her the attention of a like-minded group calling themselves the Marauders. The Marauders swore themselves to an oath, to protect the weak and strike down the wicked, so that they may never hurt others again rather than potentially be let loose by the corrupt police. Of course in doing so, Starfall and the Marauders were branded criminals themselves, despite all the good they did for the innocent. Those among their ranks who were arrested were made an example of by the ruling elite and sentenced harshly for their actions, to try and dissuade others from following in the Marauder’s footsteps and ultimately undermining their control.
For a time, Starfall’s sympathies lied with the Decepticon movement, though the tower bombings ultimately opened her eyes. More than 5000 lives lost, and though perhaps some of the victims were guilty, Starfall could not ally herself with a faction that had ended so many innocent lives just to send a message. All of the Marauders pledged allegiance to the Autobot cause, and though their effectiveness as a group could not be argued, the Marauder’s adherence to their own moral code rather than the army’s doctrine became something of an issue for High Command. Seeing a way to kill two birds with one stone, they were assigned to fight on some of the harshest battlefields of the war, in the hope that they would either succeed or die trying.
As the war went on, little of the original lineup of the Marauders remained, though High Command had begun to see the value in keeping the unit around. In spite of the many friends she had lost, Starfall’s enthusiasm and righteousness never faltered, instead burning brighter than ever before. She had come to live for the thrill of the fight, growing reckless and more brutal.
When the Exodus began, the Marauders were withdrawn from the frontlines, reassigned to secure valuable energon deposits across the planet. It was during one of these expeditions that the Marauders would meet their demise. Lured into a trap chasing the faintest trail of energon, Starfall emerged as the only survivor of the ensuing massacre. Badly wounded, she managed to limp back to Iacon, where her injuries were hastily repaired with whatever parts were going spare.
Starfall would finally get to achieve her dream of exploring space and seeing the stars herself, albeit in far grimmer circumstances than she had ever hoped. Escaping aboard one of the Autobot vessels, the ship barely made orbit before taking critical damage from the Decepticon blockade, killing much of the crew and forcing the rest into stasis lock. Left adrift for years, Starfall reawakened when the husk of her ship was boarded by organic scavengers who had already picked apart the rest of the crew. Fighting her way out, Starfall repelled the boarders, leaving her alone on the ship. Knowing full well that the boarders would return with reinforcements, Starfall hastily left a distress call on an open channel in the vain hope of rescue.
[Personality]
Never one to shy from engaging in banter with her teammates, Starfall (Star to her friends) is cheerful and good natured, with a strong passion that shines through in almost all aspects of her personality. Though she can be loud, stubborn and boisterous, Starfall is quick to turn allies into friends, and does everything she can to lift them up with either praise or humour. The main quality that Starfall lacks is patience. Whatever impulse control she has, if any, is often ignored, which can get her in all kinds of situations. Be it following through on a brilliant idea that in hindsight may not have been so good, or simply leaping without looking first, Starfall is often tough enough to get herself out of whatever mess she finds herself in.
While others may hate fighting, Starfall revels in the chaos of combat to the point of recklessness. The war did little to dull her personality, nor the ideals by which she lives her life. Starfall is a fervent believer in the Autobot way, but follows her own personal code more closely than she does that of her faction. Her most important belief is that the strong must protect the innocent, and that the wicked do not deserve mercy. To this end Starfall is far less willing to give her foes second chances than her allies may be, a notion that extends even towards the worst of humanity, such as MECH. In her eyes, humans can be just as evil as the Decepticons, and she spares no extra mercy towards them simply because they’re human. It is this belief that can cause some of her comrades to question what side Starfall is on, but at the end of the day she will always do what is necessary to protect the innocent, even if it means taking lives.
Ever since she was sparked, Starfall has had a love for two things - stars and stories. She has always dreamt of exploring the galaxy and new worlds, and Earth is no exception. Finally able to live out that dream on Earth, Starfall has grown rapidly obsessed with human culture, particularly it’s stories. To this end she is an avid consumer of media, namely that which spins the tales of heroes, and as a result, she has a fervent interest - or rather, an obsession - with comic books, movies and TV shows.
Starfall’s good-natured personality and bravado masks her struggle with her self-confidence and self-worth. She is crushed under the weight of her own self-expectations, believing that she can and should be doing more. Every life she failed to save weighs heavily upon her, and often when she is alone, Starfall spends her time replaying events in her head, thinking how things might have gone differently. Mixed with her loyalty to her friends and her reckless nature, Starfall’s guilt creates a dangerous cocktail that drives her to put her life on the line with total disregard for her own safety if it means keeping her friends out of harm’s way. In spite of this, the strength of Starfall’s beliefs in her personal code has never faltered, and at times it may well be her own unwavering adherence to said code that has kept her from falling apart.

[Supernova]
Supernova is a warhammer with a retractable shaft that can extend to approximately as long as Starfall is tall, able to be wielded with one hand or two. The striking face is a flat square, while the other side of the head is sloped. Supernova is effective at fighting against foes with medium armour, cracking and crushing it with each strike whilst struggling against heavy armour. Though Starfall lacks proper technique, millennia of experimenting with moves has led to her learning how to retract and extend the shaft to her advantage.
[Physical Strengths]
[I’m the Juggernaut!]
Powerfully strong even for the standards of her frame, Starfall can punch through much of what gets in her way with ease. Walls, terrain, other people, you name it. It’s not just her fists that possess such power either, the systems in her legs enable her to move with mobility you may not expect from someone such as herself, allowing her to run and jump across the battlefield and making closing the gap easier.
[Built to last]
Starfall boasts heavy armour all across her frame - even the sections of her body with reduced armour are still better protected than some bots. The parts of her body with additional protection are coloured yellow, in order to draw the attention of her opponents towards those areas, and also away from her allies.
[Mental Strengths]
[Thanks to you, I’ll never give up!]
Never one to back down from a fight, Starfall also isn’t the kind of bot who takes defeat lying down. Even when all hope is lost and the damage to her body is beyond what anyone might expect of her, Starfall will keep on going, even if it ultimately ends up injuring her further or worse.
[Sometimes my genius - it’s almost frightening]
Just because Starfall is brash and unskilled, doesn’t necessarily mean she’s stupid. Though not as nearly as reliant on her processor as other bots, Starfall has a strong awareness of the world around her, enabling her to see the value in what others may overlook. Despite being content to rely on her strength and let her fists do the talking rather than strategize, when Starfall actually applies her mind to a situation she might just even surprise herself with what she comes up with.
[Head first into hell]
Starfall approaches everything in life head on, full of passion and drive. When facing down difficult situations, Starfall keeps herself together, thriving in chaos. This ability to maintain her composure in the thick of it, coupled with her outgoing and supportive nature can make Starfall something of an anchor for her team to rally around when the going gets tough, even though she isn’t truly a leader.
[Weaknesses]
[Physical Weaknesses]
[Come over here and fight you coward!]
Though a powerhouse in close quarters, Starfall lacks any kind of weaponry that extends beyond melee range, and her lacking evasiveness compared to other Cybertronians means that she often has to run headlong through gunfire just to close the gap - and Primus help her if her foe is airborne. Even if Starfall were to pick up a gun, she’d be an awful shot, owing to her millennia of inexperience with them.
[Strong, but Unskilled]
A perfect summary of Starfall, her reliance on her brute strength and armour means that she’s never had to worry about finesse or skill. Though she does have some training, it doesn’t extend far past the basics, meaning that when she does find herself in a situation that she can’t bulldoze her way out of, there’s little she can do. To this end she struggles against similarly powerful opponents, especially those with better training and techniques, as well as smaller and more agile bots who have learnt to take on enemies larger than themselves.
[It’s all in the arms]
Starfall is relatively unfamiliar with fighting with her other extremities, and thus leaving her without use of her arms will make her a far easier foe to fight.
[There! A chink in the armour!]
Sections of Starfall’s thighs, particularly the vents on the insides of her legs and the joints that connect to the torso are less lightly armoured than the rest of her body, even the sections which already have reduced armour. The backs of her knees also suffer from this issue, as well as part of the ankle joints.
[Look at me, I'm a target!]
Starfall’s bright yellow paintjob is a weakness for the same reasons that she considers it a strength. Selected with the intention of drawing attention to herself, Starfall’s colourscheme coupled with her stature is designed to make sure that she is the one getting shot at, not her friends. And while this is a noble enough goal, it also means that she’ll be the one soaking up gunfire. It also makes her fairly awful at stealth, as if she wasn’t already.
Upgraded during the war to improve her combat effectiveness, much of Starfall’s internal systems were reconstructed, replaced, or just generally moved around to make space. Her insides are a mismatch of parts that don’t make a lot of sense when compared to baseline Cybertronian physiology, a problem exacerbated by the hasty repairs she received during the Exodus. As such, she is difficult to repair to those unfamiliar with her altered biology, and even then remains troublesome for those who are.
[Mental Weaknesses]
[The Blood Knight]
Starfall lives for battle, to the point of total recklessness. She loves fighting, rushing straight into the fray with her weapons at the ready. Her bloodlust, for lack of a better word, makes her too impatient for certain strategies, even against her better judgement. Starfall might be aware that patience is a virtue, and sometimes necessary to win the day, but the entire time there will be a voice in the back of her head telling her to go forth and fight. And some days that voice is loud enough to make her go against orders.
[There’s actually a perfectly good explanation…]
For all the times Starfall’s reckless impulsiveness has gotten her in trouble following through on some brilliant idea, she hasn’t gotten any better at lying about it. Or rather, any better at lying at all. When put under pressure, she struggles with coming up with a lie on the spot.
[Temper, Temper]
As mentioned above, Starfall is impulsive, reckless, and prone to taking action, even off the battlefield. Though there are lines and personal codes she would never cross, she’s quick to anger and easy to goad into a fight or a trap.
Starfall’s adherence to her personal code can often be a weakness as much as it is a source of strength. Her lack of mercy towards her foes can cause her to clash with her allies, and her foes can easily exploit her strict adherence to her own beliefs to turn a battle in their favour.
[Special Skills]
[Once upon a time]
Before the war, Starfall was an avid reader of whatever Cybertronian legends she could get her hands on. This was a trait that she carried into the war itself, and without the limitations of the caste system she was able to read even more than before. Though her personal collection was lost on Cybertron in the Exodus, Starfall has an in-depth knowledge of countless Cybertronian myths and fables, some of which may yet be true. And even if it does all turn out to be fiction, then her heightened subject knowledge at least allows her to keep herself and others entertained.
