Just as when they had moved into the depths of the ship originally, Starscream made a point of standing at the end of the line. While he knew he was no longer in any real danger of being hurt by Megatron, the Eradicons standing between them as a buffer was a quiet comfort should things turn in an instant.
The first thing he noticed, and it was hard not to - were the immense shipping container like structures. They were strange in design, though were still in one piece and seemingly untampered with. Though that brought up the question of just what was inside them?
An answer that Starscream could only assume would be revealed shortly.
Watching as the Eradicon moved as ordered, he could only squint through the darkness in an attempt to see just what Megatron had brought them out here for, only for the Warlord’s voice to sound once more - followed by movement.
A nod was the only response given, paired with movement of his own as he wordlessly followed, though his unease only grew at the unknown. The corpses that littered the upper floor had succumbed to something within this ship, and he could only hope that Megatron knew what he was doing.
Almost as if the Warlord had read his processor, more words were spoken - though they did nothing to fill the Seeker with confidence. Prolonged exposure to the things stored here, well - that was understandable and a tragic set of circumstances must’ve led to that outcome. Containment failure, perhaps?
But it was what came next that had Starscream worried. Megatron had seen first hand what the materials had done, now he wanted to bring it back with them?! Blackridge Hold would effectively be a death trap - and while they could store it in one of their abandoned mines on Earth, there was no telling what it would do! What if the native pests could somehow pick up on the anomaly? What if the atmosphere itself sped up whatever had occurred? Here in this ship it was relatively contained, if somewhat dangerous.
::With all due respect, Lord Megatron - would it not be safer to leave it here until it is needed? The Autobots have no access to a Space Bridge, meaning it will remain untouched!::
In the grand scheme of things, long-term exposure could’ve meant thousands upon thousands of years for their kind - yet given it had that effect at all did not bode well. To keep it somewhere enclosed? It was just asking for disaster and needless - and probably painful - sacrifice.
The apprehension in his tone was apparent, the nervousness practically dripping as he spoke. This wasn’t a good idea in the slightest. Megatron wanted to rebuild a weapon, yet it seemed even his own Decepticons were not safe in his quest to do so.
