Player Info:
Name/Alias: Foxdroid / Fox
Character info:
Name: Arrowblaze (goes by “Arrow” for short)
Age: Teens
Gender: Femme
Species: Cybertronian
Faction: Decepticon
Original Occupation: Tracker, collecting intel, hunter
Occupation/Specialization: Tracker, intel, recon
Appearance:
(On Left)
Build / Armor: She has a petite build, and is not very tall ether, being about roughly the same height as Arcee. However, her armor is bulky, looking almost oversized on her body. It is not overly thick or dense, however, and remains lightweight for mobility. In terms of color, the vast majority of her plating is some shade of brown. The only exceptions to this would be her fingers/claws and the tips of her feet, which are white, and a number of violet purple bio lights scattered across her frame. Two of her wheels are located around her ankle area on either foot, while the third is situated in the middle of her back. A number of fringe-like plates adorn her arms and legs as well, resembling the fletchings of the weapon from which she draws her name. Her insignia sits in the center of her belt buckle, painted on.
Facial features: Her faceplate is white, and her optics a golden yellow, though the right is darker in color than the left in both the pupil and iris. On both cheeks, she sports a pair of parallel dark brown triangular markings.
Alt mode: Polaris Slingshot
Pertinent History:
Arrow was cold constructed alongside her twin brother, Dagger, at roughly about the same time the last-sparked Cybertronians emerged from the well. The pair were part of a six-strong combiner unit, and it was hoped that they and their siblings would be able to utilize their intended fused alternate mode, that of an air-ship, to help assist the dwindling Autobot rescue force with searching for and rescuing downed soldiers and civilians that were still alive from multiple vantage points.
...They never got to do any of that, however, because the two of them were found by a band of Decepticons that infiltrated their creators’ base of operations before their activation. Upon figuring out that the pair had essentially just been created, one of the siblings' would-be killers took mercy and decided to spare their lives, swaying their comrades to allow them into their ranks. Better, in her mind, than the alternative of leaving them alone and potentially in the line of fire. Having essentially no knowledge of their own intended purposes or the nuances of the war, it wasn’t too hard of a task to convince Arrow and Dagger to come along.
The twins would go on to assist the faction with a variety of things, but they primarily worked as trackers, pinpointing the locations of enemy troops and trailing them in order to help the army organize the execution of their strikes and collect information. Though, at times, they would also be sent out to assist teams of soldiers with the incapacitation of certain ‘individuals of interest’ via surprise attacks. Their paired ambushes proved to be an effective method for cornering and subduing foes, and the duo would slowly become skilled in carrying out their duties, in due time. They weren't perfect, but they were competent, and kept their superiors satisfied.
Morality would have perhaps been a concern, a question, to the pair, if not for the fate of their mentor, the femme that had spared them from death. She had been 'born' blind, and nearly executed by those who created her, as they were displeased by her "defect" and believed it would impair her from being able to perform as a gladiator. They were wrong, and she would prove otherwise in other fighting rings...but they remained convinced. One of them, the mech who would have been her superior, formed a grudge after she escaped. A grudge that only grew stronger after she herself bested him in combat the next time they met.
Then came the war. That mech, now an Autobot, found his old foe, and this time, she was not the one who emerged victorious. After she died, Arrow and Dagger never thought about changing their loyalties again.
Moving on was difficult, but...they didn't have a choice. There wasn't much time to grieve. They kept up their standard routine of tracking and stealth assault for the duration of the war, occasionally being stationed on other planets where they learned how to navigate organic terrain and use things like tree and rock cover to their advantage. They returned to Cybertron towards the end of the war, where they stayed until the fighting eventually mostly fizzled out.
Arrow and her brother left in a small ship with a handful of other Decepticons, primarily ones they had formerly worked with or for. This worked well enough for a while, though eventually a power struggle took place amongst the de-facto “leaders” of the group who had a number of differing opinions on where everyone aboard should be going and what they should be doing. Having taken the side of one of these superiors openly, when the less-than-thrilled secondary party emerged victorious, he would abandon the pair on Earth out of spite.

Personality:
Although it wasn’t really her fault she underwent a less-than-voluntary faction swap, many years of war have certainly changed her in a number of ways, not all of them good. A point came where she became worldly and aware enough to realize that the actions she and her fellow Decepticons were carrying out weren’t always ethical or morally sound, and well...she didn’t exactly try to leave, too firm in her convictions. She might appear lighthearted and playful on the surface, perhaps still a bit immature to a degree, but she does have an aggressive and vengeful side that will quickly rear its head if someone manages to trigger her temper, or commit the offense of harming her sibling or someone else she cares for.
Generally speaking, Arrow’s behavior towards you will very much be influenced by who you are and how she feels about you. “Two faced” is a descriptor that might come to mind. To those on her side..her mischievous tendencies are fairly benign, with a harmless prank here and there or the occasional sarcastic comment. For her adversaries, this may take on a more sinister presentation- playing tricks on them just for the sake of putting them on edge and upsetting them, or so that she can laugh at their misfortunes.
That said…she’s honestly pretty cooperative for a Decepticon if you’re on her team, as well as polite. She has a habit of calling older ‘bots things like mr, miss, etc, unless they’re in high command, or have otherwise expressed distaste at such honorifics. But.. Autobots will receive no such respect. They will likely be mocked and called huge loser dweebs to their faces.
Likes: Dagger, music, pranks, nature, joyrides on backroads, driving at questionably high speeds
Dislikes: Autobots, being underestimated, people who can’t take a joke, big and open spaces, boredom, bots who get fussy about working together with others
Weapons:
Dart launcher: Mounted to a cuff-type brace on her wrist. There is a mechanism inside of the device which heats up the projectiles via a charge before they release, leaving her foes with a localized but unpleasant burn should they hit. They can pierce light or medium-grade armor, though unarmored areas are typically what she targets as the sting of the burn will likely have the strongest effect there. She keeps a supply of eight. They can certainly be helpful in combat, however, she is not able to fire them off in rapid succession. Each dart takes a good 10 seconds or so to heat up.
Axe- Her close-combat weapon of choice. It can pierce light or medium armor and at least cause surface damage to heavy. When not in use, she keeps it attached to the side of her belt-plate.
Strengths:
Agile: Not abnormally fast, but she’s pretty nimble and quick on her feet. Usually good at dodging hits, provided she’s not going up against someone who matches or exceeds her own speed.
Sneak queen: All her years of working as a tracker have made her pretty good at sneaking around undetected in the background, especially in wooded or rocky areas where her muted plating will often blend in with the environment. The selective patience she reserves for her job also means that she’s not opposed to trailing people for long distances.
Quiet strikes: One advantage to her choice of ranged weapon, and a big reason as to why she chose it, is that it doesn’t make much noise. Enemies often won’t hear the projectiles coming their way until they’re in close range.
Fearless: Not entirely fearless, but very close to it. She will often take on foes much larger and stronger than herself without a second thought. She is very brave, and very bold. Some may occasionally question her self-preservation instincts.
Selectively loyal: If you’re fortunate enough to be in her good graces, she’ll do anything for you and come to your rescue should you ever be in need. Arrow is strongly attached to her allies.
Teamwork makes the evil dream work: She’s good at working with others, generally speaking, and can find ways to adapt and blend her own combat style in with her mission partners’. For example, carrying out her initial strike and then letting a stronger ‘bot lay the punches on their target while they’re disoriented, etc. She's not as much of a backstabber as your average Decepticon and values cooperation.
Weaknesses:
Not the most powerful: Raw physical power is not her strong suit. In addition, Arrow’s close-range fighting strategy depends entirely on her weaponry. She does not have a good grasp on how to bring someone down with her hands alone, and her punching strength will not be effective against a foe with armor heavier than her own. Her claws are also effectively useless for combat purposes. If someone gets her blade away from her, she’s going to have a bad time.
Light armor: Although some sections of her armor may appear to be thicker, those sections are still not particularly dense or well reinforced. All of her plating as a whole is susceptible to weaponry that can pierce light armor, and because of this, dodging hits as opposed to taking them is her best course of action.
Limited stamina: If her initial sneak attacks fails, or her plans are somehow otherwise foiled, she’ll have a harder time gaining the upper hand in a fight. Arrow is an ambush hunter, and likes to try to finish things quickly when she gets her targets where she wants them. She’s likely been trailing you for some time before she engaged you, and thus, is bound to run out of energy and start moving more slowly if a fight winds up dragging on for longer than she anticipated.
Temper: She has one. She tries to keep it under control, but if someone manages to set it off, things will quickly go downhill. Her anger can greatly impair her judgment- she doesn’t think straight in these states, and is prone to making unwise decisions.
Sometimes, fear is a good thing: Often, Arrow doesn’t know when to call it quits. She’ll go after foes much larger and stronger than herself, holding on to some desire to prove herself or show someone up. This has gotten her into trouble more than once.
Strength in numbers: Not helpless on her own, yet…Arrow is used to having a partner’s aid during fights, be that her brother or another ally. If someone engages her when she’s alone, especially out in the open, it can catch her off guard a bit and lead to her taking more time than normal to “get in the zone” as it were and focus.
Attachment: Hurting her brother in any way is the quickest way to ignite her aforementioned temper. He’s her closest companion, having been by her side since day one. If anything were to happen to him, she would certifiably go ballistic and try to exact vengeance immediately on whoever or whatever was responsible for causing the harm, paying no mind to her own safety or the logic of her actions. Losing him is something she couldn’t cope with, truthfully. She’d never be the same.
Special Skills:
-She can play the banjo. Or...Cybertron’s closest equivalent instrument to a banjo, rather. Decently. She had always had an affinity for music, enjoying listening to it in the brief downtime between the fighting, so when she found a neutral trader with a few instruments on him off-world, she jumped at the chance to get something for herself and learned how to use it in time. Her holoform will occasionally be seen with a proportionately-human-scaled Earth version of the instrument as well.
Extra info:
-Due to being a split-spark twin, her connection to her brother is close enough to the point she can feel sympathetic pain. Although she won’t feel things at an equal level of intensity, if someone lands a good hit on him, it will sometimes result in her feeling an acute ache in the same area or her closest equivalent. (Wing damage would probably lead to her having a very unpleasant burning sensation in her upper back near her rear wheel.)
This won’t really significantly affect her in combat if it's a minor surface-level injury that’s been sustained, but if he gets hurt badly? It’s going to mess her up and slow her down. The intensity of this sensation is linked to how physically close the two of them are. It will become weaker if there is enough distance between them. Enough generally translates to something in the neighborhood of 2 to 3 miles.
-She has a holoform, which is used with her alt mode to help put on a more convincing Earth vehicle performance, given it’s an open three wheeler and the lack of a driver would raise more than a few eyebrows.
