A chirpy, excited beep was the only response to Nathan's two initial words, and an enthusiastic thumbs-up was given.
While he had been appointed Raf's guardian – a role he took very seriously – having another human get to know him a little bit would be super beneficial in the long run. He couldn't be there for Raf all the time, sometimes situations came up where he'd be pulled away on a patrol and unable to be here at base. To have someone who wasn't a Cybertronian – or Fowler – who could help out if needed? It'd mean the world to him.
Partially turning to begin typing to reply to the comment about Omega One, he seemed almost caught off guard by the question that was asked a moment later. What did he think of Earth… man, how to even begin answering that. Everything he said – or, uh, typed… – would be lost in the mundanity of the monotone robot lady, though he hoped it wouldn't take away completely from what he wanted to say.
The problem was where to even start.
Turning then, he would begin to type. This time slower than before, almost as if he was trying to pick out the perfect words - that, or, it was hard to even put into words just what exactly he thought.
"Earth?" the robot lady began, with zero inflection in her voice at all.
"I haven't been here long at all, but I love this planet. While I haven't been able to see a lot of it, the places I have seen have all been amazing. Where we are right now doesn't seem to get many seasons, but I've seen so many colors while scouting in other areas of the world. The skies, the plants… the variety of wildlife, it's all amazing. The people I've met, or even just watched while out and about have been pretty amazing, too."
He glanced over his shoulder at Nathan to offer a gentle nod at the words, as if to emphasize that he meant everything that was being said, before typing more. There was so much he wanted to 'say' - like how the rains here were nice, refreshing and calming almost to sit in, whereas back home the rain was made of acid, and hurt.
"Cybertron was nothing like this place. I didn't even know there were places like this at all."
Being sparked into the middle of a war, he hadn't ever had the chance to really do or see much of anything except fighting. Fighting that still continued to this day, even if things had relatively cooled in recent years due to both sides still securing some sort of foothold here.
"I can't wait to see more of it. I want to protect it, so it isn't lost like Cybertron was."
He frowned at that, squared digits hovering over the keyboard as he thought back on his home, and the many temporary ones since. Cybertronians had been the cause of many planets becoming desolate, their war had spiraled to the point far too many innocents had been involved. Even if he was just one, single Scout - he would do everything he could to try and stop that happening here.
Turning to look at Nathan then, his tiny door-wings fluttered behind himself nervously. He hoped that was answer enough, even if the method of which the answer was given was certainly emotionless indeed.
