"Roddy." Simple. Somehow Prowl kept missing that. Maybe simplicity was far too complicated for him? Pity. "I'm sorry... absent? I must have missed the part where I was back at the Academy and you were the new hallway monitor. I'm so sorry, sir, I didn't mean to wander the hallways without a pass! Won't happen again, cross-my-spark."
Roddy scoffed some, not moving back at all either. If Prowl wanted to invade his space again, then that was up to him. If he got too touchy, he had ways to convince him that he was a little too hot to handle.
"So what you're saying is that next time I get threatened by someone who's supposedly a 'friendly', I should just go Karen mode and talk to upper management. Cool. Got it." Roddy gave a thumbs up with one servo, then crossed his arms again. He was about as impressed as Prowl seemed to be, but just like the other, he didn't really care. "And since I guess asking about my whereabouts must have slipped your mind because you were too busy being bad cop while strutting your ego around like bean day in prison, my 'absence' was out of my control."
Well, if Prowl wasn't going to ask, someone had to give him a nudge in the right direction with questions, right? Asking where someone was instead of threatening to take them out back and shoot them seemed to have escaped Prowl.
"I was actually trapped in an at-home garage by humans- the humans who repaired and repainted me- for the past several days. Last time I checked we were supposed to be 'in disguise', but I guess I should of just hauled ass through their house like a modern-day Christine and said screw the rules."
Roddy scoffed and waved his servo around, just... over it, really.
"So if you're done threatening to put baby in a corner, can we get this over with? I'm still really tired, I have a pounding headache, and could use a decent recharge."
