Name: Olivine
CHARACTER INFO
Name: Nue
Age: Late 20s/Early 30s
Gender: Genderfuck (he/it)
Species: Cybertronian
Faction: Decepticons
Original Occupation: Kaon Chemical Worker/Drug Dealer
Occupation/Specialization: Chemical warfare & Interrogation
Nue’s right arm is noticeably larger and bulkier than the rest of his body. Its fingers end in long and hooked claws, and a large cannister of viscous purple magenta fluid sits snug inside his outer forearm
Thin and elongated unguligrade legs sprout from his hips. His thigh connects to his shin with two thin metal beams, and his altmode’s rear wheels rest just above the flat and rounded peds that form his feet. Should he desire, these wheels can shift downwards in place of his feet and act akin to a pair of skates.
Spiky, sweeping plates and a sharp and pointed cheek guard form a helmet around Nue’s grey face panel. His piercing optics glow with the same purple vibrance as the thin tubing that runs from his shoulder muscles and plugs into the back of his neck.
Pertinent History: Nue was constructed cold for hauling and mixing toxic chemicals. Day in and day out he toiled over vats of boiling liquids strong enough to eat through your metal with a single drop. Every single shift was backbreaking and a macabre dance with death, and the gain was so little that he could barely keep himself alive. To make ends meet, the bot applied his knowledge to synthesize poisons and drugs and sold them on the black market. It wasn’t pretty work, but everybody wanted an escape or a way to flat-line their asshole of a boss and would gladly pay for it.
Revolution is muttered through hushed voices- whispers that slowly but surely grow in volume. The system shackled him to this toxic hellscape, so of course Nue followed along with it. Some spoke of a peaceful reform on broadcasts, but the violent and direct method that his coworkers called for certainly appealed to the growing knot of spite and anger in his spark. When the day eventually came that lines were drawn in the sand, he gladly fell in with Kaon’s Decepticon movement.
When the war started out in earnest, Nue found himself producing chemical weapons for use against the government and the Autobots. Initially he despised the idea of once more mixing poisons, but in truth it began to grow on him. This time, his work served a clear purpose- one he was eager to fulfill.
During the creation of one batch, an argument broke out between Nue and his partner at the time. Escalation quickly ensued, and a vat of acid was knocked onto Nue. It completely corroded his right arm and left it nonfunctional. Nue took the accident so poorly that he had his body modified heavily during his repairs to brew its own poison. This way he’d finally have a way to fight back against anyone who tried laying a hand on him.
Over time he began to develop preferences and specializations in his chemicals. Sure he could make a super strong acid that eats through everything that it touches, and he would make it if ordered to...But that was boring. He found it much more fun to drug bots and break them than just kill them. Still, he was just the manufacturer and didn’t get a say in what he got to make. His experimentation would have to remain reserved to the occasional Autobot test subject or lowly Decepticon grunt that nobody would miss if they vanished. It wasn’t until the tail end of their time on Cybertron that he received his chance to shine. The Decepticons were desperate to get information that could help their sabotage of the Ark, and they had become incredibly short on personnel with interrogation skills. Nue took a risk of insubordination to question and twist one of their recent captives himself. At first he was reprimanded- but the intel checked out. The Decepticons got a leg up over the Autobots, and Nue landed himself a comfy promotion to interrogation.
Nue was unfortunately one of the many Cybertronians left on their home planet in the mad dash of the exodus. The bot was doomed to the life of a scavenger until happening upon a scrapper ship picking at the ruins. He sweet-talked his way into transportation off world in return for guiding them to points of interest. Unfortunately, however, Cybertronians weren’t exactly liked by the rest of the galaxy’s inhabitants. He could only find a home on the crew of a pirate ship, and even they had a distaste for his methods. He constantly fought and bickered with his crew mates over insufferable matters such as ethics and the like. It eventually became evident he’d be removed from the crew, but an opportunity presented itself to save him from desolation- a call from the Decepticons seeking his talents once more and a request for pickup coordinates.
One minute Nue’s your best friend and giving you a much needed shoulder to lean on, and the next you’re lying face down in a ditch from an overdose. Trusting him is a fool’s errand, because the only thing that he cares about is cracking you open, picking at what makes you tick, and then seeing how you handle his latest poison. And don’t be fooled by the cocktail of drugs flowing through his system or his seemingly sunny disposition; Nue is a razor-sharp tack and will play misconceptions of him to his advantage.
While he maintains a cheery and foppish attitude, the bot in truth holds a deeply misanthropic worldview. Sure he’s an awful person, but everyone else is an irredeemable monster and deserves all the pain he gives them. It’s only fair after how they hurt him after all.
In spite of his manipulative nature, however, the bot isn’t very power hungry. None of his backstabbing or lying has ever led him to a higher station in the Decepticon ranks. Serving Lord Megatron grants him a great deal of freedom to engage in his hobbies and satisfy his desires, so he’s quite content with his position in life.
A no-good, rotten, self-centered, two-faced piece of scrap, that’s Nue, yet maybe he’s not as rock solid as he makes himself out to be. Somewhere deep down inside him there might be a hint of good left- or is that just another lure he puts out to ensnare people in his mind games?
Likes: himself, sadism, hard narcotics, picking people apart
Dislikes: everyone else, killjoys, sobriety, narcs, idleness, incompetent accidents
Prideful: Nue is damn good at his job, and he takes great pride in that fact. The concoctions he creates are his dearest treasure, and so is his poison-brewing body as a result. If you ever want to get him enraged and start making mistakes, the most surefire way is breaking his stuff.
Play With Your Food: Sure, Nue could make an extra powerful poison and kill every single person that crosses him- but where’s the fun in that? Even if it severely decreases the chances of him actually winning a fight, he never ever wields his concoctions with the intent to kill his target. It’s much more thrilling, after all, to incapacitate and chain them up as his latest plaything.
Special Skills: As a result of both his caste-system role and his years of experimentation, Nue possesses a deep and intricate knowledge of all things relating to chems.

Likes: himself, sadism, hard narcotics, picking people apart
Dislikes: everyone else, killjoys, sobriety, narcs, idleness, incompetent accidents
Strengths/Weapons:
Walking poison factory: A network of piping runs throughout his frame, curling around metallic musculature and connecting into the deepest recesses of his chassis. Nue’s body has been pulled apart and reassembled at an intensely intrusive level. With these upgrades, the bot can produce his special brand of toxin at a consistent rate given the raw materials. If needed, it could create concoctions with similar psychoactive properties, but more sophisticated or different substances will require an external laboratory.
Venomous Talons: The hooked claws adorning Nue’s right hand aren’t just for show. Though able to leave fairly harsh scratches on medium armor and open wounds on unarmored areas, these talons primary purpose is as an injection vector. The structure is hollow and functions as a syringe that connects to the piping system in Nue’s arm. For that to work, however, they need to pierce an energon line unprotected by armor to inject their payload.
Envenomation: The bot’s iconic hallucinogenic venom that oozes from his claws. This liquid’s severity and duration of effects depends on the quantity of poison injected and the size of the target. A small amount will induce mild nausea and acute pain in the infected limb. Once injected with moderately larger dose, hallucinogenic effects begin to develop. The victim will experience hallucinations, dysphoria, and delirium of intensity directly proportional to the amount of venom injected. The effects begin to wear off at around 4 to 5 hours for the average sized bot. Anyone smaller or larger would likely begin to come down after 2 to 3 or 7 to 8 hours respectively.
Pieces of toxic trash (and how to use them): Leaning on the seedy underworld to survive requires one to learn quickly how bots work and how to play the manipulation game. Whether it be twisting them for information, or playing kiss-ass to officials, Nue is exceptionally good at reading others and playing off of them.
Peashooter: His left hand, however, simply converted into a small standard issue pistol with an energy blast payload. It’s power is incredibly weak, only able to pose a threat to lightly armored targets or weak points, and needs a short recharge time after six shots. Though certainly not a tool to be pulling out in a war zone, it’s a solid last resort when, and not if, a need arises for it.
Speedy getaway: The ability to use his rear wheels as skates grants Nue a level of speed that, while not as fast as a vehicle mode, gives him a leg up on outrunning most others in robot mode. It can make the difference between life or death in a situation where escape is necessary and there isn’t enough time to bother with transformation.

Weaknesses:
Battlefield Hazard: Simply put, he’s the furthest thing from a front line fighter. The tubes and brewing network filling up his body not only leave no room for any substantial protective armor, but also makes him a theoretical walking bomb should his structural integrity ever be compromised.
Range? What’s That?: Since Nue’s sole method of administering his poison is his syringe-like talons, then his main strength is completely useless if he can’t lay a finger on you. The pistol he carries on his left isn’t any better- it’s a pistol after all, meant for close quarters and lacking severely in range.
Injection weaknesses: Nue’s claws can only properly inject their payload if they’re directly piercing an energon line, can’t pierce through any level of armor, and require a small but significant amount of time to inject anything more than a minor dose. It becomes increasingly difficult for the bot to administer his venom if his target is actively fighting him rather than chained up at his mercy. This is doubly true if they’re a larger and bulkier bot with fewer and smaller gaps in their armor.

Go for the legs: Nue’s biggest structural weakpoint are his legs due to their delicate and abnormal structuring with thin connecting points at the shin. The quickest way to take him down in a fight and leave him helpless is to break his legs. The exposure of his rear tires in his robot mode also makes them an easy target. A well placed shot would deflate them and leave him unable to utilize his skates or his alt mode.
Prideful: Nue is damn good at his job, and he takes great pride in that fact. The concoctions he creates are his dearest treasure, and so is his poison-brewing body as a result. If you ever want to get him enraged and start making mistakes, the most surefire way is breaking his stuff.
