-Player Info-
Name/Alias: Els
Other characters: Catherine Bravocci (Human)
-Character Info-
Name: Stormbreaker
Age (or human equivalent): Young adult
Gender (or human equivalent): Identifies feminine
Species: Cybertronian
Faction: Decepticon
Occupation/Specialization: Aerial Reconnaissance
Appearance/Altmode:
Alt: F35 Lightning II
Height: A crest or two shorter than Starscream
Hers is an overall slighter frame with a digitigrade stance, her plates layered and pulled tight to her body. To add a bit of ‘extra padding’ to the vital areas of her otherwise sleek frame, her wings mount at a downward angle, vertical stabilizers shifting to rest just under them at a similar angle to guard a relatively lightly armored back strut; horizontal stabilizers splitting to armor her outer legs. The plates of her helm shift back in a sweeping motion lining her cranium, her facial alloy outlined by extensions that angle down towards a chin-guard and come to points just above and behind the helm. The crest of her helm comes low between her optics, giving her overall neutral expression a colder appearance.
History: [/u]
Sparked to a small cohort who owned a weapon's manufacturing company based in Vos, Stormbreaker grew up in a very privileged (though young) life before the war. As her spark was originally commissioned to take one of the positions of a growing company, she was in the process of being groomed for future duties when Megatron and his Decepticons rose to power. The elders of her cohort had already begun to quietly back the Decepticon cause, but it wasn't until Starscream (who they publicly supported) sided with the Decepticons that they, like many other Vosians, followed him over.
Despite conflicts within her cohort of joining Megatron's cause after the bombing of Vos, they all (even grudgingly) followed suit. Stormbreaker, still relatively young, would question the roots of these conflicts - but ultimately had little to comment on the matter. She was outfitted for combat and began to run mostly solo reconnaissance missions, tracking movements and recording details of Autobot positions with the occasional dog-fight in the skies. As time passed, she built up quite the record for success, a record which would become noticeably more violent after the passing of two of her cohort. The other two she lost contact with during the Exodus, unsure whether or not they were KIA, MIA, gone through, or left behind with her.
Up until recently, the rest of the war she fought in one sector or another, gaining ground and losing ground in her sector. When what was being tracked as a small cluster of Autobots heeding a transmission beacon showed up on radar, she was instructed to follow to the source only to eventually find herself landing in what was the new Frontline.
Personality: [/u]
She is extremely calculating and observant by nature, a couple of main characteristics that play in well to her primary function within the Seeker ranks. As a soldier she gives the appearance of respect to the chain of command, usually never speaking unless spoken to, and then only about things relevant to the mission. A soldier who gets the job done and done well. However, this isn't necessarily complete obedience-- her purposes for following orders are far more self-centered.
Outside of rank and file, Stormbreaker is quiet and withdrawn. She prefers to stay on the outer edges of social interaction, though this behavior tends to stem from a combination of a privileged pre-war life and simple personal preferences. Although she is not strictly anti-social, her attentions are reserved for those relevant to her interests. In other words, the cold shoulder is more often than not given to anyone who is not a wing mate or cohort which makes it easy to presume that beneath her quiet exterior she is cold, uncaring, and possibly a touch sociopathic.
Likes:
Low-traffic areas, observational perches, arial acrobatics
Dislikes:
Being grounded (a bit clauterphobic like some aerialists), lack of perch or hidey-place, medical bays (in some cases), large crowds (usually)
Strengths/Weapons:[/u] (This is where you tell us how you are going to injure/get a hit on/kill others)
Weapons: She has two plasma blasters equipped on either side of her wings meant for high-speed unloading on an enemy target. The rounds, while not her heaviest packing weapon, are the most continuous quick fire of her guns. The heaviest hitting weapons she has are a variety of long to medium range air-to-air missiles that equip on her wings.
Her digits and pedes are tipped with claws meant for puncturing armor and ripping it back out. Usually not used unless it’s a tight situation/ground combat back-up.
Speed: She is built for speed, intended mostly to be able to get in and out of enemy air space under reconnaissance missions. The positioning of her horizontal and vertical stabilizers allow her to make sudden, wild turns in the air that also enable her to survive and fight in the occassional hostile encounter.
Stealth: Her overall model plan is made to prevent and get her out of hairy situations with whatever information she has, using short bursts of fire power coupled with speed to give her time to slip away. But she is equipped with abilities to avoid encountering these situations in the first place such as deception transmitters to distort how she appears on the radar. While this won’t make her completely invisible, it allows her to ‘disperse’ her signal, appearing as a much larger object or mass in the sky to confuse guided missiles coupled with a stealth cloak that bends light around her armor to hide herself with her surroundings.
Weaknesses: (This is where you tell us how OTHERS might injure/get a hit on/kill YOU. Personality flaws are good, but please include some structural flaws as well.)
Spotted!: Being lightly armored and made for air she relies on a hit and run method to get herself out of tight situations, so she’s not equipped or built to handle prolonged aerial frontline combat or hand-to-hand combat. If she meets more than a few enemies in the sky, she’d be in trouble. If for some reason she’s grounded, it’d be a bad day.
Cool-down: Her deception transmitters only work in her alt mode, and then can only be applied in short bursts. Her cloaking device has a similar weakness, as it is used more like how a squid uses ink -- a last second burst to get her enough distance to get herself out. The cloak also has a cool-down period of about a breem (10 minutes).
