Empty night, with full moon high, surrounded by countless stars. The engine growling was echoing at the road, as the two wheeler kept advancing, heavy v8 engine rewing, lowering a bit, and then opening a throttle again, after switching gear, gettin more speed. There was a character riding a motorcycle. Not real though, and not even really necessary during night, when most of humans were not around. Still, Shade just had gotten used to use her hologram every time she happened to use her alt form. It didn't use too much energy, and using it made it safer to travel on these roads of the earth. Even during nights, there was always few trucks, and some travelers on the road.
Shade had taken few days, to searchs possible new energon sources. Abandoned mines, like her "home". The places that wouldn't get any more interest from decepticons, giving her chance to operate without danger of being caught. Her resources at her base were quite high, for one, but it never hurted to have some backup for bad day. She had found one mine, only minor amounts of energon, but it was all better than nothing.
There was still a while to her home, and she was not in hurry. This planet had it's good sides, for an outcast, lone wolf like her. Her processor's might've softened a bit since her cybertron times. She barely missed fighting, for nothing. But then, as she had always believed in their mighty leader, into his ideals, and had wanted to protect him, no matter the cost. She had always had a reason to fight. Here, she had no reason for that. She was like, if she was to say, like free.
Her processor wasn't too troubled by thinking, as she kept driving, seeing car's front lights further ahead, coming in her way.
