"I don't..." A loud flop about as loud and exasperated as her sigh echoed when she dropped her hands to her sides, somehow her train of thought seeping out and forming their own words, as if that would help. "What...why... I mean, really?" But no matter how many times her brain tried to restart with a new sentence, nothing helpful came (was there anything that could be helpful here?).
For a good long moment she stared, posture adjusting this way and that when words failed to do the job- but even almost flailing this way and that (not surprisingly) didn't do shit.
'You've gotta be kidding me.' She thought, setting her hands firmly on her hips. But he wasn't. So letting her head roll to the side, she exhaled, and let her voice become animated enough to play along. But given the look on her face, she was just being a good sport. "Wow. Yeah, Jerry, that's a big fucking plane in the middle of Yellowstone. Holy shit, Batman. How'd that get there? I bet the government landed that right here just to fuck with people." Shifting weight to one hip, her arms crossed across her middle.
It was an odd feeling, the way she wanted to back-track and 'bridge back to Haven because of adefinite possible severe lapse in judgement (it was the lack of food, surely), thrown in with this really poor ability to find a mech that turned into a Blackbird dangerous, especially when he was presented as an old man geologist with crazy white hair and a fannypack. Especially when he was dead set on playing pretend. Actually, he reminded her more of her grandfather. Which didn't help.
"I bet you could sell it on eBay. But I dunno, I'm just a youngun. Your thoughts?"
