Name: Wildfire aka War Rig
Age (or human equivalent): Mid to late 40's
Gender (or human equivalent): Femme
Species: Cybertronian
Faction: Autobot
Original Occupation: Raw Ore Hauler for mining operations
Occupation/Specialization: Brute and battlefield hauler
Appearance/Altmode: Wildfire is, to put it mildly, large. She's a W900 Kenworth tanker hauler. Before she was a tanker she worked in several different mining operations hauling the load. Her paint is dull, faded, and scuffed. She's worn and hasn't seen fit to really spice up the paint job either. Over the several millenia she's lived, she's modified her frame to suit the job until her appearance grew downright menacing. She didn't always have backup on her hauling runs and, as such, had to be the protection and the transport all in one. So a heavy plow was added to the front to break down road blocks. As supply runs grew more and more dangerous, her armor was modified to withstand constant attack. Her tanker was equipped with spikes and blades to deter anyone trying to get too hands on. To some degree she ended up looking like this minus the skulls, the turrets, and the double hemmy on the bonnet.
Altmode aside, Wildfire still ends up being a very large femme. In her bipedal form, she stands the height of the prime but has more bulk. He's a twig compared to her thick frame. The plow from the front of her grill actually turns into a formidable set of brass knuckles on her taloned hands. The tanker (when empty) is hollow and doesn't add much kibble to her frame. The saw blades on the sides and spikes give her an almost roman skirt appearance. If the tanker is full, she can choose not to transform with it losing extra armor on her torso and arms. Her face is rather plain if not a touch “femme” like with her mouth painted a darker gray. She's not a knockout but she's not hideous either.
History: Cold sparked, Wildfire spent the first part of her life with a bland designated number and a simple task. She was to collect and haul raw ore loads from several mines to a refinery. The job was easy and she was quite content in her work, never thinking beyond the tedium. Traveling between mines kept the boredom down. She was even loosely acquainted with a few mechs, one being the prospector WildCard.
When the rumblings of cast system started, Wildfire didn't pay it much attention. Unlike some of the other minors or laymechs, she found her lot in life just fine and didn't see to change anything. But that didn't mean she was blind to the dissatisfaction of the other mechs around her. She could sympathize but could hardly join in the hardier complaints.
Her job grew infinitely harder when the uprisings and war began to rip society apart. Fuel would always be the defining line of have and have not and her easy going deliveries turned into hardened battles. She was given escorts at first but they were either dispatched early or picked a side. When it became apparent she couldn't stay between the two forming factions, Wildfire picked the one she deemed less violent.
Wildfire had always been a pacifist at spark.
With a Autobot brand, her job grew downright dangerous. She became a transport of energy and supplies for her side, delivering to front lines and strongholds alike. Often she was alone on her runs, or if very desperate, she grabbed WildCard to help navigate. Much to the poor mechs chagrin. With every victorious run, she picked useful parts and added them to herself. Such as the very useful plow. Or the saw blades. Unfortunately for her, she also developed the nickname of the War Rig by the Decepticons. And it stuck.
Personality: Quiet and contemplative. Wildfire has a very dry sense of humor hidden underneath the stoic exterior. She's not gruff or moody even if her silence and frowning face seems to suggest such a thing. She's also not an idiot despite her great size and slower speed. She's a very respectful femme and gives every mech and femme their due.
Likes: Deserts, being alone, meditation, friendly debates and the quiet.
Dislikes: Loud environments, prejudices, and uncommon bias.
Strengths/Weapons:
Strength: With size comes ridiculous strength. She's big and she's powerful. Not a femme to be pushed around easily.
Standard Blaster: A very no frills weapon that is standard for just about every mech. Ninety nine percent of the time she forgets she has one.
Heavily Armored: She can withstand most attacks because they just can't get through her dense armor. That doesn't mean repeated attacks won't eventually get to her. She can be brought down with successive attacks. It just takes time and effort. Sort of like cracking a walnut open to get the yummy insides.
Chain: Ever tanker comes with a set of chains. She just happens to use hers in melee. The thick metal is used for hauling and is very durable and heavy. She has been known to wrap the chain around random objects and improvise a very crude flail to attack airborne enemies with. Again, her techniques are more brute focus over finesse.
Improvised Weapons: If given a real weapon, she wouldn't know what to do with it. Wildfire was never given the formal training capable of melee with any sort of weaponry. However, that doesn't mean she can't pick up ye old random broken axle and start swinging. Such improvisation of items is her forte. She's relied on a lot less when odds were low.
Weaknesses:
Disarmament: Wildfire doesn't have that much in the weaponry department. She's a terrible shot and probably couldn't be asked to hit anything with her blaster. She has no formal training of battle and instead relies on brute force and the school of hard knocks to lead her way.
Crap Aim: The blaster might as well be for looks. Wildfire is a terrible shot and knows it.
Age: While not a large weakness, Wildfire is much older than most of the whipper snappers in the war. She has fairly good endurance but if pushed to her limit over and over again, she would start to slow and weaken fairly quickly. Them struts aren't like they used to be.
Snail Speed: She's not a fast femme. In melee she's fairly quick but no light, agile fighter. In alt mode she's also not very fast. Once she gets going she can maintain a good speed and even put space between her and pursuers on the right course... However, her turning radius is awful. And she's heavy. She can be bogged down in the wrong terrain.
Special skills (that are not weapon related):
Scanning Abilities: While not super useful to combat, Wildfire has the ability to scan load deposits and tell exactly what is in her tank down to the exact weight.
Calm Under Fire: Wildfire is remarkably level headed in tense situations. She rarely if ever loses her temper. Instead, she's more likely to buckle down and keep going to see something through.
Extra Info:
It is possible this character will be “partnered” with Darcarin's human character. Which would also explain some of the outlandish looks under the guise of being flamboyant show people.
