Blackframe seemed to have a special skill at this point that was pushing more brazenly into the forefront as time went on. He would do something that would ordinarily be good, only to follow up right after with a kick of arrogance and a cocky attitude to sully what foundation had started to be built. Towards the end of this discussion the Spymaster was starting to question why he even held out hope and let himself be disappointed. He should just automatically assume there would be boastful preening and gloating right after any statement.
It wasn't even preening on par with Starscream, the Seeker able to flaunt accomplishments around while speaking of things or relaying good news of some type. Blackframe appeared to just enjoy interjecting such commentary with a half hazard slap at the end of his words. Soundwave took in a silent vent at this, letting the air sift out through the slats on his back without even a whisper, before he focused back onto the other individual.
As with before, it didn't TRULY matter...
While Blackframe effectively packed up and readied to depart, Soundwave simply let the mech do what he needed to do. No further commentary, no additional directions nor questions thrown his way. He would be set free to get to task with all the kindled energy and enthusiasm that had surged to the surface. The moment said individual had slipped beyond the threshold of the room, the silent mech would gradually turn back to the powered down terminal, making certain it was not idling, before returning to task.

An unreeling of the data line, a smooth movement to kneel down before the conduit he had been routing out previously... with a roar of mechanics and snarled crackle of rock, the spymaster would get back to his previous task as if nothing had occurred.
