“What about them?”
He peered at her like the answer was obvious, though given the slightly confrontational tone of her voice, she had been entirely serious in her question. From what he understood of the Autobot situation their resources were limited, which brought with it - he assumed - the inability to use the bridge often.
Should they be in the middle of a city, or at least around the natives? The flyers would have to wait till the dead of night to move from the base to avoid being noticed without the usage of a bridge, and even then it’d be a risk.
Though maybe he was overcomplicating things.
“Should a grounder wish to drive out of Blackridge Hold they probably could, if they so desired.” he looked her up and down as he replied, optics narrowing ever so slightly, almost as if he was carefully scrutinizing her - though not to the point of commenting. He’d walked outside of Blackridge many a time, to either catch the chill of the night air, or to simply stretch his wings without the feeling of claustrophobia hanging over him and his thoughts. Some of the terrain was certainly rough, but it would be manageable by wheels, lack of roads aside.
“Though that brings up a good point, the Autobots have a variety - and seem to have a preference for - ground based vehicles. Enough variation that it could look suspect should they be located within a city.”
Hiding in plain sight was clever indeed, but the sheer diversity in vehicle types and builds would make it hard. From sports cars and bikes, to trucks and Primus only knew what else they had - blending in would be a challenge, especially if they chose not to bridge anywhere and moved in groups.
Still, having a fresh pair of optics to give input would be refreshing - if only to hear what her views were on things. He expected her to mull on it somewhat, to pick up the datapad and peer at it for a moment, taking in the details of not only the map itself, but the scattered markers.
Instead, the answer came abruptly, and as she motioned with a point, the silver Seeker would turn - optics narrowing as he tried to work out just where she was pointing to on the monitor.
“Wha-” there was some exasperation to his tone as she spoke again, and this time he would turn to look at her, noticing that things had finally clicked and she was pointing at the datapad itself.
Using one taloned claw, he would drag the datapad over and across to himself, peering down at the area she had pointed out. He made no motions of picking the device up to get a closer look, and instead would merely hum before shifting his gaze back to her.
“And why is that?”
