We are a literate, intermediate to advanced AU Transformers RPG Based off of the first season of TFP with dashes of other incarnations sprinkled here or there. Characters from any continuity are welcome however must be restyled to match the TFPrime universe.
Active, with ongoing plotlines, we are always willing to integrate new characters into storylines once incorporated into the setting.
Hey there. This may prove to be a dumb question in the end, that probably should have an obvious answer. But I can't help but ask it... So I have sent in an application in hopes of joining this lovely place, and read the rules and faq, etc, etc. But I was just wondering how exactly this works? I will admit I have never participated in such an rp forum, and am a little intimidated by the skill I see at play here, but I would like to learn... but I'd also like to know what to expect. For instance, when introducing an OC... How would I go about that? I'm not even sure where to start? A nice summary of the inner workings of this kind of rp would be a great heads up if you know what I mean.
Hi Trey! We're kind of flexible - the RP itself mostly works like an interactive multi-author story, and communication with the other authors is often key. We all talk to each other in the cbox, or through PMs on the site, or via email or IM. That way we can plot out what we're doing, or what we'd like to do.
For bringing in an OC you can decide if they're already on Earth, have been there for awhile, or if they're arriving brand new. If so, where are they arriving, when, how? You can plot things out loosely ahead of time and ask the players of specific characters to interact with you as you come in, or you can make an open thread and see who shows up. There's plotting threads on the board for new people to introduce themselves or folk just to make broad plans with other people - check the links section on the sidebar, the plotting thread and gdoc are linked there.
Once you're past the hurdle of introing your character, lots of us have ongoing plots in the works but there's always room for new people to join in. We run about one major plot episode/campaign per year and we're in a lull between right now, so everyone's doing their individual character development plots with other people. Makes it a good time to bring new people in, and from there you can decide what you want your character to do and start setting that up. ^_^
Alright, awesome. That answers my question thoroughly enough ^^ Hopefully things work out and I'll be joining soon. Thanks for taking the time to reply! I appreciate it
