Trap. Like a cornered Turbofox.
Acree pressed her lip component tightly in a grim expression, but little else emotion. No way in the slagging pit were the Examers going to cow her into submission. Even more insulting was the use of 3 training mechs instead of the regular 4 required for the standardize combat exam. Even if she did wiped the floor with these goons, her performance would carry with less weight.
Her optics didn't move away from the opponent directly in front. Her EM field crackled from contact with the two overlapping fields on either side of her, alerting her to their presence in her perphial zones. A handy trick at times, Arcee had quickly learn to anticipate an enemy's movements this way.
A rattle of chain clanged to her right. Arcee ducked quickly as the flailing weapon barely sailed over her frame and collided with a resonding THUNK!
Not permitting the two lackeys time to recover, Arcee scurried away from the entangled goons and rushed the lead mech. The mech hurriedly raised his blaster to ARcee's chest, but before he could release a shot. Arcee threw herself over him. The lead mech froze with momentary confusion at the unexpected stunt and Arcee rotated mid-air, planting a swift kick to his helm. He staggered away, clenching his ringing processor.
Rolling into the landing, Arcee whipped out her forearm blades. The floundering mechs quickly regained their lost composure and proceeded to surround the two-wheeler again, but in more open area.
"Let's dance," Arcee invited with a deadly look in her optics.
