Backbeat sputtered for a moment at the rebuke. Frozen mid gesture has he watched the Autobot commander return his watchful gaze on StarKrieger. As he steps back and resumed a wary position, Backbeat mutters “Well yah don't have to be rude about it... Geeze.” under his breath. His claws snapping together and apart as he narrows his optics. Looked like things were being kicked upstairs, which for the moment meant his attempt to use the situation failed for now. Still, there always remained ways to ensure the current scenario played in his favor. Especially with the addition of the Decepticon commander in the mix.
The four Eradicons seemed to nod amongst themselves before they transformed and fell back. Their taillights reflecting crimson thru the rain. While silent, you could tell they all seemed relieved to not be in mortal danger for once.
As he spied StarKrieger stow his weaponry, Backbeat follows suit and adopted a more relaxed posture. All three transformers stood in the rain, left to wait for a response from the Decepticon Air Commander. Backbeat took stock of how his excursion to steal sheet metal for the Decepticon cause had quickly been replaced by this awkward mess. He wasn’t angry though, as they had managed to get the trailer full of metal into the Groundbridge before Prime arrived. Most of the human films he’d seen usually end with the crooks being caught before the can hide the loot. “Oh, good. I guess we wait.” There was a pause as thunder clashed in the distance. “What an interesting day this has been.” He’d be interested to see where this went and why this “Patch” person seemed so important.
