Episode 3.5 | Week 1 | Day 2

The sight of the Ground Bridge had been a welcome one indeed. Not because Miko wanted to rush back to the Omega Base or anything like that, but because she could only imagine how much of a relief it was to the two Autobots in front of her. Being out here alone on a strange new planet? It must’ve been super scary, so the fact she’d been able to not only find them but help them? It felt amazing.
She wouldn’t move immediately as the vortex spiraled to life, though was quick to let Bumblebee know that he’d gotten the position pretty dang perfect! The chipper beep on the other end sounded like he was happy with the news. Then, she would close the phone, putting it back into her pocket.
She’d let the two Autobots go first - moving behind them as they made their way through the bridge itself. She’d done this more than a few times now and it was still such a surreal feeling - to simply walk from one space to another in a matter of seconds. The bridge itself was safe, though it did make the hair on her arms stand up on end - no doubt due to all the crazy electricity or whatever it was that made the thing actually work.
In no time at all, all three of them were safely on the other side - going from the dull, boring landscape of just outside Jasper Nevada to… the dull, boring interior of Omega One. The Control Room didn’t look like much at all - concrete floors, concrete walls. The Autobot symbol had been painted on the floor, almost like a constant reminder of who they were and what they fought for.
On one side of the room was a small elevated area, with a couch and TV that was playing some sort of cartoon - though the volume was muted. Next to this was the console itself, manned by Bumblebee who stood out against all the gray. Above them were various ducts, no doubt for air conditioning, and along the upper walls were metal catwalks. The room was illuminated by fluorescent lighting, the gentle hum of which was the only real noise - with it being so late, everything was pretty quiet.
Though she was certain it wouldn’t be for long.
