Timeline:
Week 2 | Day 1
The lack of energon should have been the most concerning matter at hand, but instead, it was far from the forefront of his thoughts in spite of his frame's constant reminders through the insufficent level warnings he had coming across his HUD constantly. Instead, other things caused him to be distracted, chains of events that he struggled to cope with. There had been enough going through Breakdown's processor to keep it on edge the past several cycles to keep him rather busy. Not only had their CMO vanished, the first incident in the snowball effect which went hand-i-hand with the orders that led him to his current prediciment by order of their Tyrant Lord, but thus far all efforts to find him had been in vain. The outreach to the other side had turned up nothing, and while he was certain the yellow insect had been hiding something from him, he neither had the time nor effort to dig further into it. The aid of Soundwave had, as well, turned no results.
Dead ends, each and every one of them.
Yet, those were not the only things proving to drive a wedge further into his gears that jammed the inner workings. The appearance of the notorious Swindle had thrown him off as well. The reputation of the other was well known within the faction and their own teams, and yet here he was, having somehow survived in this war as well. No doubt it had been through dubious means. Not that it was his concern- not now, not ever- but he would need to keep his working optic on that trouble for later.
Now he was wandering, idling, focusing his attention the best he could on what other efforts he could take to finding Knock Out. Was there anywhere else he could look? Had there been a stone left unturned?
There had been some message that, had he paid attention, he would have been prepared for the stumble that came as his pedes suddenly felt like they'd gained in weight suddenly. Instead, with his attention elsewhere, he failed in that, and before he realized it he stalled out, unable to prepare for the sudden temporary loss of his function in his left leg, and found himself stumbling to the side with one arm pressed against the wall to stop him from entirely collapsing.
It was only then that he finally took heed of the warning, indicating the temporary shut down of some of his systems from the excessively low energon level. Things were being rerouted, with non primary systems being shut down. For the time being he just needed to wait for the reset to happen, which left him as a sitting duck for... whatever nonsense.
Hopefully it wouldn't be Swindle crossing his path in this time, not like this...
