Episode 3, Week 1, Day 7, Evening
Rain, somewhat nervous and lacking in her typical self conviction, walked into the room she was going to be sharing from now on. The reason was twofold, though only one was official. Skystone, the current occupant, and currently absent, was part of the team helping expand Omega Base for the horde that the Autobot forces on earth were becoming. This meant living arrangements being adjusted for greater efficiency of space, in the meantime, and for the foreseeable future. The two femme fliers had been clumped together owing in no small part that they were fairly compatible at friends, and thus roommates.
The unofficial reason was after the debacle of this morning at Rain's hands, she was now chaperoned by the apparently more mature Skystone. Nobody had said anything of the sort, but Rain knew it, and couldn't disagree too strongly with the sentiment. Rain had brought in a neutral to the base, which had only proven to be completely safe in hindsight. Although Rain had been right, her judgement was in question. But that was all now in the past, well, not really at all, Since Rain's thoughts still occasionally throughout the day flitted in Cloud's direction.
She looked about Skystone's spartan quarters and was quickly distracted by rocks. Not just any rocks though. There was a shelf and upon the shelf was a collection carefully laid out with definite care. Rain walked over to give these rocks and careful visual inspection. She dare not touch them, nor really could she. Rain as she was, still fresh from repairs, could barely lift her left arm, and her right hand was effectively nonfunctional while it had splints to assist the healing. Why was Skystone collecting rocks? Rain did not know but she was certain to ask.
