"I'll go ahead and take the Skitty. I can trade that one away for something else later," Jeff replied.
Silently, he requested from his off duty brethren some basic supplies suitable for humans and some of those canned foods humans always stocked for emergencies. He immediately received an enthusiastic response, some Vehicons planning out what clothing they'd try to snag and others mapping out where they'd get the healthiest foods without transforming or getting caught disobeying orders.
Jeff was feeling pretty down, but in light of his kin still in a hoopla over this human, he felt just that much better. His feeble attempt at making the cage look better was sure to be overhauled as soon as Stacy could figure out when would be the best time to sneak into Starscream's lab unnoticed. Chris was plotting when would to hit the ground for some toiletries and McCoy was fretting over the fact that the human was an unfixed female (something about natural reproduction-related cycles getting messy without proper 'products'). Leonard was in the engine room griping loudly over the comms about the sudden wave of interest in a disgusting organic, but that was to be expected and so was ignored. And Gerard and three other on-duty Vehicons were asking why Starscream said no to a plumbing system and why not just give her a toilet that had an incinerator inside?? ("...Expect schematics for the most advanced toilet mankind's ever seen by the end of next shift.")
The Vehicons, caught up in their fanaticism, were eager to do their own 'experimentation' by actually taking proper care of their new 'pet.' Starscream's subject or not, this time the human was more accessible and Starscream admitted to knowing next to nothing about the human race, especially their needs and culture. Seeing as he wanted a living subject for once, this was their chance to enjoy the presence of a homo sapien on the Nemesis, as sad as her situation was. Furthermore, it was best to be on Starscream's good side on any given day, but with the instability of the ship's dynamic at the moment, it was probably more important than ever.
Maybe the human had a chance. At least she wouldn't live in squalor. She'd be clean, given shelter, given food and clothes... Even under Soundwave's watchful eyes, the Vehicons could manage to do things without detection, and hopefully this would be one of them. They could be like the elves that made the shoemaker's shoes in the night! They'd get in, get out, and Starscream would find a perfectly healthy (...if sad, Jeff remembered again) human awaiting a run-through of a maze.
Jeff sighed in relief. Maybe he shouldn't have kept his latest updates from the others. Except the pokemon, that is... That was his information only, for now.
((lol, figured once the others knew what was going on, the tone would change a bit. xD I imagine everyone else was eager to hear what was going on since Steve left and in the meantime were already making plotz of their own. -- So, how are we going to close this? ))
