There was no room for doubt- that was the Optimus Prime.
That would have caught him off guard on it's own, but being smacked in the face by sand certainly added to his surprise.
It’s a good thing he didn’t have any tricks or plans up his metaphorical sleeve, because, well...it would be pretty stupid to try to pull a stunt in front of Optimus and one of the other largest Autobots he’d ever seen in his time. Especially while injured. Those two could probably fling him directly back into space with their combined might if they wanted to. Well...probably not that far, but maybe into a nearby rock formation or tree. The odds were not in his favor.
Crescent attempted to dust off some of the sand clinging to his arms and shoulders, before giving his wings a few shakes to serve the same purpose. Now...how to go about addressing the ‘bot in front of him? He thought long and hard about it. He didn’t want to be too formal, but at the same time, didn’t want to come off as disrespectful either. In his extremely brief stint of helping the Autobot army back home, he’d never been anywhere near the Prime, let alone spoken to him directly.
He would, eventually, settle on giving the leader an awkward little wave and a simple “Hello.”
After shaking off what sand she could herself, Luna chirped out a greeting of her own, optics widening in curiosity as she looked at the newcomer.
“Thank you, for getting me out of there. Both of you.” Really, there was no way he could properly repay them for saving him from certain doom. But a thank you was still certainly in order.
