“Thank you, Optimus.” A small smile crossed his face, and his wings rose from their dropped position ever so slightly. “I know she will. I just hope that-” he paused for a moment, trying to find a good descriptor for Signal that wasn’t an expletive… or a particularly strong expletive, at least. “-That low-down piece of scrap will answer for his actions one day.” Rubbing his temples and letting out a sigh, his gaze found its way back to the ground. His own form of ‘vengeance,’ regardless of his own feelings about it, was not nearly enough of a punishment for that fragger.
"Let us relocate to Omega One.”
Upon hearing the prime speak again, he looked back up. He was being given an offer- one he did not fully understand, but an offer nonetheless. However, after some thought, it would click that Optimus was more than likely speaking of their base. It was now his turn for a bit of optic-widening, as he stopped to process the implications of that statement.
“Of course. I’ll follow your lead sir.”
Upon seeing a new ground bridge flare to life, he would walk forward, closing the distance between himself and his counterparts. It was...interesting, he thought, being in such close proximity to Optimus Prime himself-almost surreal. Had one gone back in time and told his former self that he would be near the mech like this under peaceful circumstances, he probably would have blown a fuse. While her carrier’s attentions remained on the leader, however, Luna’s were elsewhere. Jetfire, specifically. For whatever reason, the owl had decided that the big seeker looked like someone who would give a satisfactory head petting, and was very intent on receiving it.
As Crescent stopped to take in the sight of the bridge for a moment, the avian cassette would proceed to lean off of her perch to give Jetfire’s arm a light bump with her forehead, a polite request.
Upon noticing what she was up to, an embarrassed look flashed across her owner’s face. “...Oh My. Apologies.” Truthfully, he was surprised that she had attempted such a bold maneuver. It usually took a bit of time for her to become comfortable enough with an individual to go about requesting affections, but then again, there were always exceptions to the rule for whatever reason, which often didn’t have any rhyme or reason behind them. Birds were strange creatures.
